El Lagar de Isilla Restaurant, Roasting House and Tavern, is situated in the centre of Aranda on the main street-Calle Isilla Rustically decorated in the local Castilian style with a traditional lagar (the large tree trunk you see as you come into the restaurant, used for leverage in old wineries), antiques and tables made out of antique threshers.

El Lagar de Isilla has a spacious bar where one of our most typical customs is the wide variety of tapas and portions on offer and the many different options for accompanying them with a Ribera del Duero wine.

This is the focal point of the restaurant, where we roast the milk-fed baby lamb and very typical in this area.
The oven is heated to a temperature of 200ºC with dry wood
We use the traditional recipe of roasting lamb. We gently roast the baby lamb for 1 hour and 45 minutes. With a little water and a few drops of lemon juice.
We have three separate dining rooms, one on the ground floor with the roasting oven and open grill, and the other upstairs.
They are both decorated in the traditional Castilian style.

The typical main dish of the area is roast baby lamb, and we also have a wide selection of mouth-watering meats, fish and modern gastronomy dishes.
Se recomienda dejar un hueco para saborear algún postre casero.
Todos estos manjares pueden acompañarse con alguna de las 450 referencias de vino que se conservan en la bodega histórica, la mayoría de La Ribera del Duero.
